Send Help During COVID-19
Here at Why NOT Africa, we are focusing on providing relief for families as soon as the Ugandan government opens back up. Right now, the distribution of food has been halted due to COVID-19 restrictions.
We are very concerned about the children who rely on the food provided at school. Many families’ crops are poor because of so much rain during the wet season that the crops were destroyed. Now they are coming up on dry season which will really impact their livelihood.
While $10 is only one drive-thru meal for us, this small amount is enough to provide 42 meals in rural Uganda.
$10 provides:
2 kg (4.4 lbs) of beans
2 kg (4.4 lbs) rice
2 kg (4.4 lbs) sugar
2 kg (4.4 lbs) posho (a dough made from cornmeal flour)
Please consider making a gift to these precious families as soon as possible so that we can have resources available to the Ugandan people as soon as restrictions are lifted.
